Missing Apex woman and 2-year-old daughter found safe

APEX, N.C. (WTVD) -- Apex police said Thursday evening that a missing pregnant woman and her 2-year-old daughter have been found and are safe.

Sarah Kelly, 26, and her daughter, Raya Horton, left their home on Towhee Drive around 12:30 a.m. Thursday.

Police did not say if they walked or were picked up from the residence. Kelly reportedly made contact with her brother earlier in the day Thursday to say they were on their way home, but they have not returned.

Kelly is 5 feet 5 inches and weighs 130 pounds. She has brown hair and blue eyes. She also has a scar on her left wrist and is 4 months pregnant. She was last seen wearing pajamas.

Raya Horton is 2 feet 6 inches, 30 pounds, with brown hair in braids and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing pajamas.
