Man arrested for 2013 child sex assault, home invasion

FOUR OAKS, N.C. (WTVD) -- A man has been arrested for a 2013 sex assault and home invasion in Johnston County.

Police said on Oct. 18, 2013, 22-year-old Mondarus Jamar Harris broke into a Four Oaks home and sexually assaulted a juvenile girl.

According to authorities, the victim's mother was taking another child to the bus stop for school during the assault.

Police said the victim did not know Harris.

Harris is charged with two counts of statutory rape and one count of felony breaking and entering.

Harris's bond was set at $120,000.
