Whoops! Truck drags sofa down Durham road in front of cop

DURHAM (WTVD) -- Most of us have done it - used a pickup to move some of our furniture.

However - hopefully - none of us have had to deal with our stuff falling off the truck.

Well, one poor driver in Durham had the misfortune of losing part of his load and it was caught on camera.

The video is making the rounds on social media after another driver captured the red truck dragging a section of the sofa along the road.

You can hear that the videographer is optimistic a Durham police officer will let the truck driver know, but instead seems surprised when the patrol car merges behind the truck and then into the right lane to turn.

ABC11 reached out to the Durham Police Department about the incident, and they said they are looking into it.
