Police: Worker cut after confronting shoplifter at Raleigh shopping center

RALEIGH (WTVD) -- Police say an employee at the Poyner Place shopping center near Triangle Town Center mall was cut Saturday after confronting a shoplifter.

It happened around 3:20 p.m. at the Carter's clothing store.

Police said the employee had minor injuries.

The suspect was not in custody and police did not have a description of the person.
