APEX, N.C. (WTVD) -- The Apex Police Department is hosting their 3rd Annual Charity Yard Sale on Saturday, June 11 to benefit the Wake County child abuse prevention agency, SAFEChild.



All proceeds will benefit SAFEchild, the only child abuse prevention agency in Wake County working directly with families.



The sale will take place from 7 a.m.-3 p.m. at the intersection of Highway 55 and Mason Street between Compare Foods and Apex Middle School.



The police department has been collecting items to sell at the yard sale since March. Captain Ann Stephens said there are thousands of items from the community including furniture, kids toys, home goods, home decor, holiday decorations, clothing, and exercise equipment.
