Police: Body found on St. Marys Street in Raleigh

RALEIGH (WTVD) -- Raleigh police are investigating after a body was found in the 400 block of St. Marys Street on Thursday afternoon.

Police said a passerby found the male victim around 2:30 p.m.

Investigators said there are no apparent signs of foul play, but the Medical Examiner will have to determine the man's cause of death.

Later Thursday, Raleigh police restated that they do not believe foul play was involved in the death.

Officers have not released the victim's identity.
