GOLDSBORO, NC (WTVD) -- Authorities are trying to identify a couple seen on surveillance video during a shopping spree with stolen credit cards.

Goldsboro police say on May 25th, a Smithfield woman reported that someone took her wallet from her purse while she was at a restaurant in Goldsboro.

The victim told police that the suspect or suspects immediately made numerous charges on her credit cards at several locations - including a Target store, a CVS, the Handy Mart in Princeton, as well as various stores at Crabtree Valley Mall in Raleigh.

Authorities said at the time of the initial report over $1,943.00 worth of charges were accrued on the victim's credit cards.
