2 arrested in drug raid at Spring Lake home

SPRING LAKE (WTVD) -- A two-month narcotics investigation by Spring Lake police led to the arrest of two people Friday.



The Spring Lake Police Department's Neighborhood Improvement Team executed a search warrant in the 400 block of Laura Court at 5:25 a.m.



The Spring Lake Police Department Special Response Team secured the residence and after a search officers seized the following items:



  • 55 grams of marijuana;

  • 8 marijuana plants, which were growing in the backyard;

  • 14.6 grams of crack and powdered cocaine;

  • A 9 mm Charco-CPX handgun stolen out of Harnett County;

  • and $478.45 cash.

Antonio Devon Maurice King, 31, was arrested and charged with possession with intent to sell and deliver cocaine, possession with intent to sell and deliver marijuana, possession of a stolen firearm, possession of a firearm by convicted felon, and manufacturing marijuana. King is being held in the Cumberland County Detention Center under a $40,000 secured bond.



Brittany Priscilla Moore, 18, was also arrested. She was charged with possession with intent to sell and deliver cocaine, possession with intent to sell and deliver marijuana, maintaining a dwelling, possession of a stolen firearm, and manufacturing marijuana. Moore is being held in the CCDC under a $30,000 bond.
