Fayetteville cops seek man in attempted sexual assault
FAYETTEVILLE (WTVD) -- Fayetteville detectives are searching for a suspect wanted in connection with an attempted sexual assault that happened around midnight Saturday in the area of Five Sisters Court.
A 20-year-old woman told police that someone knocked on her door and when she answered, a strange man pulled her out onto her porch and attempted to sexually assault her. She fought back and was able to get free and call for help.
She described the suspect as a black man, about 20 years old, about 5-foot-4 with a thin build, and wavy or curly hair. A composite sketch was created based on the victim's description.
