Watch Louisiana Rising Monday for flood victims

RALEIGH -- ABC11 will air Louisiana Rising: A Benefit Concert for Flood Relief from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. Monday on our 11.2 channel.

The show will be broadcast from Baton Rouge's River Center Theater and will benefit the American Red Cross Louisiana Flood Relief.

Performers include: Better Than Ezra, Aaron Neville, Hunter Hayes, Rebirth Brass Band, Luther Kent, Chris LeBlanc, Herman Jackson Jazz Quartet, Quiana Lynell, David Torkanowsky, Magnolia Sisters, Chris Thomas King, La Leroux, Ruth Marie, MacKenzie Bourg, Sonny Landreth, Dwayne Dopsie and Zachary Richard.

Randy Jackson and Harry Connick Jr will co-host the event.

Flooding in August claimed the lives of 13 people and damaged an estimated 154,000 homes. Tens of thousands of people need assistance. Thousands are still living in shelters.
