Concert lineup announced for State Fair

State officials have announced the concert lineup for the 2014 State Fair in Raleigh.

Vanilla Ice is one of the acts booked to perform at Dorton arena. The rapper and reality TV personality is slated for Thursday, Oct. 16.

Other artists scheduled to perform during the fair's 11-day run include Joan Jett, Trace Adkins, Parmalee, Clay Walker, and others.

All shows will begin at 7:30 p.m., and doors will open at 6:30 p.m.

Tickets will go on sale Aug. 1 online at www.ncstatefair.org.
