Overturned tractor trailer blocks U.S. 401

WAKE COUNTY (WTVD) -- An overturned tractor trailer caused U.S. 401 southbound to close near St. Patrick Drive late Sunday night.

It happened just before 10:30 p.m. and reopened hours later.

A photo from the scene showed the vehicle on its side and off of the road.

No word on what caused it or if there were any injuries.
