Raleigh health fair offers free screenings and flu shots

Advance Community Health will hold a free community health and wellness fair in Southeast Raleigh Sunday, Oct. 9 from 1-3p.m. Free screenings will be offered for blood pressure, Glucose, HIV, and prescription consultation. Free flu shots will be available. Workshops will also be held on HIV, enrolling into the Health Insurance Marketplace, and cancer screenings for special populations. There will also be vendors offering health education, access to service, and family-friendly activities like an obstacle course and food demonstrations.
