Millions of defective, hazardous dehumidifiers recalled

Gree USA is reissuing a recall for 2.5 million dehumidifiers that can overheat, smoke, and catch fire.

So far, 450 fires have been linked to the defective dehumidifiers.

The units were sold under various brand names and sold at several retailers including Home Depot, Kmart, Lowe's, Walmart, and Sam's Club.

Consumers should immediately unplug and stop using recalled dehumidifiers and contact Gree for a full refund.
