Man charged in Chapel Hill bank robbery

CHAPEL HILL, NC (WTVD) -- Chapel Hill police have made an arrest in a robbery that took place last Thursday morning at the State Employees' Credit Union on Elliot Road.

Police said the suspect entered the bank just before 9 a.m. December 8 and demanded money.

Now, 58-year-old Alvin Lennon is charged with felony common law robbery.

Bail was set at $1,000.
