FAYETTEVILLE, North Carolina (WTVD) -- Authorities in Fayetteville have closed part of Ramsey Street due to a wreck involving six vehicles.

It happened around 7:50 a.m. on Ramsey Street in front of the Veterans Affairs Medical Center.

Fayetteville police say one of the six vehicles involved overturned and over half of the vehicles sustained significant damage.

Several people were taken to Cape Fear Valley Medical Center with injuries, at least one person is in critical condition. Two of the people involved were teenagers who sustained minor cuts and bruises, according to authorities.

Officers are currently investigating the crash. Officials tell ABC11 that they believe the driver that caused the wreck may have been impaired.

Ramsey Street was closed between Rosehill Road and Northwest Avenue, while the scene was cleared. It was reopened around 10:30 a.m.
