T.W. Alexander reopens in Durham after gas leak

DURHAM, North Carolina (WTVD) -- T.W. Alexander is reopen after a gas leak closed the Durham roadway Thursday.

Both directions were shut down between Miami Boulevard and Page Road due to the leak around noon. It remained closed until about 1 a.m. Friday.

City officials said the gas line was damaged because of construction between Stirrup Creek and Cedar Grove, adding there were no environmental damages located.
