Overturned dump truck spills cargo, closes eastbound lanes on I-40 eastbound in Cary

CARY (WTVD) -- Authorities are working a crash on I-40 eastbound at Harrison Avenue where a dump truck overturned, spilling its load.

All four lanes on the eastbound side of the roadway are closed while crews clean up.

The incident happened before 11:30 Friday morning.

Authorities have not commented on how the incident occurred or the status of the driver.
