Police identify 2 bodies found in Chapel Hill home

CHAPEL HILL, North Carolina (WTVD) -- Chapel Hill police have identified the two people found dead inside a home on Deming Road.

Officers said they were residents Margaret Montgomery Gibson, 86, and Eric Dana Gibson, 58.

According to police, there were no visible signs of forced entry into the home and they believe there is no threat to the community; however, they have yet to determine a cause of death.

An investigation is ongoing.

The bodies were discovered on October 12 by a Realtor.
