Crash closes I-40 eastbound near Lake Wheeler Road

RALEIGH, North Carolina (WTVD) -- A crash closed all lanes of I-40 eastbound just before the Lake Wheeler exit on Wednesday night.

The crash happened around 9:15 p.m. The lanes reopened at 10:10 p.m.

An ambulance left the scene shortly before 10 p.m. No word on the extent of any injuries was available.
