MYRTLE BEACH, South Carolina -- Two humpback whales were seen from the Myrtle Beach State Park pier over the weekend, according to the South Carolina State Parks Facebook page.

The page is the official Facebook account for all South Carolina State Parks and in addition to the humpback whales spotted over the weekend, the one pictured above popped up Tuesday.

"Sometimes during the winter months, these creatures can be seen along the SC coast," the post states. "What a cool sight to see!"
