1 killed in Wayne County crash involving SUV, 18-wheeler

GOLDSBORO, NC (WTVD) -- The Highway Patrol is investigating a fatal crash that happened Monday night in Wayne County.

It happened on Highway 13 near Goldsboro.

An ABC11 crew at the scene said an SUV collided with an 18-wheeler.

The driver of the SUV was killed.

The truck driver was shaken up, but not injured.

The identity of the victim has not been released.

The incident remains under investigation.
