3 suspects rob man at knife-point in Burlington

BURLINGTON, N.C. (WTVD) -- Burlington police are searching for three suspects who reportedly robbed a man at knife-point early Saturday morning.

Police said the incident happened at the intersection of Falifax Drive and Friendly Road around 1 a.m.

Authorities reported three men approached the 20-year-old victim and assaulted him with a knife before demanding money.

The suspects took money and a cell phone from the victim. He was not injured.

Police said the victim described the suspects as three black men. One suspect was wearing a red sweatshirt and the other two were wearing black sweatshirts, the victim said.
