Troopers respond to hit-and-run on I-40 in Wake County

WAKE COUNTY (WTVD) -- The North Carolina State Highway Patrol is investigating a hit-and-run on I-40 in Wake County.

The incident happened around 12:30 a.m. Monday on I-40 near Harrison Avenue.

Troopers haven't released details surrounding the crash; however, they said they're looking for a white pickup with front-end damage.
