DURHAM, NC (WTVD) -- Two people were injured Thursday afternoon in Durham when a motorcycle struck a pedestrian.

It happened shortly after 2:30 p.m. on North Roxboro Street near Old Oxford Highway, Durham Police said.

A motorcyclist struck a pedestrian in the southbound left turn lane on Roxboro. The motorcyclist suffered minor injuries. The pedestrian was taken to the hospital for treatment.

There's no information yet on the pedestrian's condition.
