Cumberland County deputies investigating after man shot in stomach

CUMBERLAND COUNTY, NC (WTVD) -- Deputies with the Cumberland County Sheriff's Office are investigating after a man was shot Saturday night.

The incident happened around 9:15 p.m. on Sumerton Place near Sandhill Road.

ABC11 crews on scene said the man was transported to the hospital after being shot in the stomach.

Deputies have not released information about a possible suspect(s).
