3rd suspect arrested in Fayetteville apartment shooting

FAYETTEVILLE (WTVD) -- U.S. Marshal's arrested Cedric Darnell Williams, 25, on Monday at around 3:15 p.m.

This is the third arrest after a shooting on Law Road left two women in serious condition.

Police said a man busted through the victims' Law Road apartment door around 3:15 p.m. Friday and began shooting.

Williams was charged with two counts of attempted first degree murder, two coutns of assault with a deadly weapon, and two counts of felony conspiracy, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, and breaking and entering.

He was taken to the Cumberland County Detention under a $1,225,000 bond.

Detectives arrested Sharon Denise Jones, 44, and Dominique Latrece Rush, 22, after conducting a traffic stop. Both women have been charged with two counts of attempted first-degree murder and various other assault charges. They were taken to the Cumberland County Detention Center where they remain under a $210,000 secured bond.

Prior to their arrest, police had a description of the Williams' vehicle. Police said the victims know him.

Our crew on the scene said the police located the car on Murchison Road but Williams was not there.

The victims were taken to Cape Fear Valley Medical Center. They have been identified as 25-year-old Jessica Patrice Dudley and 25-year-old Rosa Liguetta Barfield.
