FAYETTEVILLE (WTVD) -- An apparent hostage standoff ended in Fayetteville Friday afternoon about three hours after it began.

The incident began around 10 a.m. at an apartment complex in the 900-block of Stewarts Creek Drive off of South Reilly Road.

The call first went out as some kind of domestic dispute.

Two people were in police custody.

No injuries were reported.

The Fayetteville police have not released the names of the individuals arrested or more details about the trouble inside the home.
