9 students taken to hospital after school bus crash in Raleigh

RALEIGH (WTVD) -- Twelve people, including nine students, were taken to the hospital after a traffic accident between a school bus and an SUV on eastbound Wade Avenue near St. Mary's Street in Raleigh Tuesday afternoon.

The accident involved bus number 387, which was transporting students from Lacy Elementary School.

The school's vice principal told ABC11 that the students were not seriously hurt.

Raleigh police are investigating.
