MZB is recalling nearly 2 million Children's "Light Up" watches because the back of the device can detach and expose the interior to water, risking skin irritation, rashes, redness, and even chemical burns.

The Consumer Product Safety Commission reports there have been 11 claims of skin irritations or chemical burns from the watch. Six of those consumers needed medical treatment.

The recall involves 303 styles of "Light Up" watches, totaling about 1.9 million units (not including the additional 58,000 sold in Canada).

The "Light Up" watches were sold at several major retailers from Oct. 2012 through June 2015. Major retailers include Kmart, Kohl's, Walmart, and others nationwide.

The watches have a flexible plastic wristband sold in multiple colors including pink, pink with white snowflakes, green, blue, and navy blue. "MZB" and the style number are printed on the case-back of the watches.
