Fayetteville police hope to ID armed robbers

Police released these images of the robbers.

The Fayetteville Police Department has put out several surveillance photos in hopes they will lead detectives to a pair of armed robbers.

Just before 9 p.m. Tuesday, the men came into the RJ Tobacco Mart located at 407 Hope Mills Road with their faces covered and brandishing pistols.

Police say they robbed two employees and a customer in the store, as well as took money from the cash register drawers.

They then fled on foot toward Watauga Manor Apartments.
