RALEIGH (WTVD) -- Three buildings were evacuated on North Carolina State University's campus Monday due to a gas leak.

It happened around noon in the area of Main Campus Drive and Varsity Drive on Centennial Campus in Raleigh.

No injuries were reported, but the Lexis-Nexis, Keystone Science, Partners III buildings were evacuated as a precaution.

The building were reopened about an hour later.

Images from Chopper11 HD showed a construction crew in the area, but it was unclear if that was the cause of the leak.

Further details surrounding the incident have not been released.
