Burlington police seek help finding two fugitives

BURLINGTON (WTVD) -- The Burlington Police Department is seeking the public's help in finding two fugitives that are known to be in the Burlington/Alamance County area.

Raphael Tomar Carter, 34, is wanted for failure to appear from a previous charge of assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury. Carter has an extensive criminal history that includes weapons violations, burglary, and assault.

Tyrell Lee Yancey, 24, is wanted for failure to appear from a traffic stop that resulted in the charges of possession with intent to sell/deliver marijuana and resist, obstruct, and delay a public official by fleeing from officers. Yancey's criminal history includes drug violations and assault.

Carter and Yancey are known associates and are often together.
