Cumberland County deputy involved in crash

FAYETTEVILLE (WTVD) -- A sheriff's deputy has been involved in a crash on N. Ramsey Street across from Reid Ross Classical School in Fayetteville.

Investigators said the deputy rear-ended a Honda Wednesday afternoon that was stopped in the road and that car was then pushed into a Kia that was also stopped.

The deputy's cruiser suffered heavy damage, as did the Honda.

Investigators say there were no serious injuries.

The cause of the crash was under investigation.
