Deputy's house catches fire in Cumberland County

FAYETTEVILLE, North Carolina (WTVD) -- A house fire on Big Bay Road in Fayetteville broke out early Saturday morning.

The fire started just before 3 a.m. Crews on the scene said the home belongs to a Cumberland County sheriff's deputy and his family.

Emergency crews said everything was lost in the fire.

Officials on scene said the family is on vacation and is expected to return sometime Saturday.

The cause of the fire is unknown.
