FORT BRAGG, N.C. (WTVD) -- A foot race with a poignant purpose was held Saturday.
Hundreds of soldiers at Fort Bragg ran to honor and remember soldiers killed since 9/11.
One key part of the race is a moving tribute featuring rows after row of Army boots -- 7,500 of them.
There's a boot for each service member killed in action since 9/11.
ABC11 photojournalist Larry Chavis introduces us to several widows personally touched by the display.
