Dozens of tires slashed in Raleigh

RALEIGH (WTVD) -- Police are trying to learn who caused thousands of dollars' worth of damage to vehicles in southwest Raleigh early Friday.

Someone slashed the tires on dozens of vehicles. It mostly happened in the Kensington Park Apartments on Crescent Creek Drive off Avent Ferry.

Owners came out to find someone had cut the sidewalls, ruining the tires.

Police said the vandalism appeared to be random and there's no indication the victims were specifically targeted.
