RALEIGH (WTVD) -- A fire that damaged a Raleigh restaurant Monday morning is under investigation.
The fire started around 5 a.m. at the Piccola Italia Pizza and Italian Restaurant in Cameron Village off Woodburn Road.
Fire officials told ABC11 the blaze was mostly outside in the back of the family-owned business.
They said there was not much damage to the inside of the building. No injuries were reported.
Officials said the fire may have been sparked by a live wire near a gutter system, but they said the investigation continues to determine the exact cause.
Restaurant owners Frank and Giovanni Amato told ABC11 that they think the fire was a case of arson.
The restaurant will be close for several days as they clean up and repair the damage.
