Franklin County couple charged with felony child abuse

FRANKLIN COUNTY, NORTH CAROLINA (WTVD) -- A Franklin County couple is charged with felony child abuse resulting in serious bodily injury.

The Franklin County Sheriff's Office arrested Dequarius Johnson and Victoria Benson, both of Louisburg, on Thursday.

Police say the incident occurred between May 5 and June 5.

The matter remains under investigation.
