Garner home damaged by fire

GARNER, N.C. (WTVD) -- A Wake County woman has been forced out of her home after it went up in flames early Saturday.

Firefighters responded to the home on the 1200 block of Highland Drive in Garner after neighbors called saying the house was on fire.

No one was inside at the time. No injuries were reported.

Fire investigators are trying to find out what started the blaze.

Neighbors reported hearing a lightning strike late Friday night, but it's not clear if that had anything to do with the fire.
