GOLDSBORO, N.C. (WTVD) -- Authorities in Goldsboro are searching for a suspect who robbed a bank Wednesday afternoon.

It happened around 2:50 p.m. at the Wells Fargo Bank in the 600 block of North Berkeley Boulevard.

Officials said the suspect walked into the bank, pulled out a gun, and demanded money from the clerk.

A shot was fired into the ceiling, but no one was injured.

After the teller complied with the suspect's demands, he fled the scene with an undetermined amount of money.

Police say the suspect is described as a black man, approximately six feet tall, and wearing a camouflage bandana around his face.
