A McDonald's drive-thru was hacked in New Bern, spraying profanities at customers (WTVD)

"Hello, how may I help you?"

That's the greeting most people are used to hearing at a drive-thru. Over the weekend, though, a customer at a McDonald's in New Bern posted a video of a much different encounter.

"You know, I'm actually on the toilet right now and I'm just going to serve your food, not even going to wash my hands," the hacker said through the drive-thru intercom.

Someone was able to hack the drive-thru frequency and spray profanities at customers as they tried to place their orders.

The owner of the McDonald's released a statement saying the incident was isolated and that police are investigating the matter.
