WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. (WTVD) -- A man sleeping on his couch was killed when a car came flying into his Winston-Salem home early Sunday morning.
Winston-Salem Police say it happened overnight. Tommy Curry, 57, died.
"We heard an explosion and I was like 'what in the world?' so we got up and looked and all of a sudden we saw smoke," said an eyewitness.
Curry's wife and son were also inside but were not injured.
Police said the driver of the car, Quante Rucker, will face charges.
