PRINCETON, N.C. (WTVD) -- Authorities said they found a meth lab on Brewer Lane in Princeton on Sunday afternoon.
A deputy went to serve a warrant for 29-year-old Ronnie Baggett at his home when he was seen throwing something into a barn which then caught fire.
The barn fire spread to a nearby mobile home. After the fire was put out, deputies found the makings of a meth lab inside.
No one was injured.
Baggett was charged with several offenses including manufacturing methamphetamine, maintaining a vehicle or dwelling for a controlled substance, possession with intent to manufacture, sell or deliver methamphetamine, possess-distribute meth precursors, and first-degree arson.
At last report, Baggett was be held in the Johnston County Jail under a $400,000 bond.
Damage to the building was placed at $1,000. Damage to an adjacent mobile home was estimated at $5,000.
