Man charged with first-degree rape of child

MOUNT OLIVE, N.C. (WTVD) -- The Wayne County Sheriff's Office said Tuesday it has charged a Mount Olive man with first-degree rape of a child.

Feliz Munoz, 26, was taken into custody after an investigation that began when deputies were called to the Wayne Memorial Hospital to speak with the alleged victim.

No other details were given.

Bond was set at $500,000.
