Man charged with touching children at Durham stores
Durham investigators said a 60-year-old man was caught touching children in local grocery stores.

DURHAM (WTVD) -- Durham investigators said a 60-year-old man was caught touching children in local grocery stores.

Daniel Terrell made his first court appearance Monday.

He had already posted a $20,000 bond last week following his arrest. However, a judge is now requiring him to pay another $20,000.

Terrell was indicted in two separate incidents.

Police said in Aug. 2013 Terrell grabbed a 5-year old girl from behind at a retail store in Durham.

Last month, investigators allege he did the same thing again at a grocery store. This time, a 6-year-old child was the alleged victim.

Monday, the judge ordered Terrell to have no contact with his alleged victims and to stay away from three major retailers in the Durham area.
