Hope Mills man facing child molestation charges

HOPE MILLS, N.C. (WTVD) -- Christopher Williamson of Hope Mills was arrested Wednesday for multiple sexual assault offenses involving a child, according to the Hope Mills Police Department.

His charges include one count each of first-degree rape of a child, first-degree sex offense with a child, indecent liberties with a child, and crimes against nature.

Williamson was held in the Cumberland County Detention Center under a $500,000 bond.
