Man sought in wife's death in Wake Forest
The Wake Forest Police Department says a man just released from jail is a suspect in his wife's death

WAKE FOREST (WTVD) -- The Wake Forest Police Department is looking for a man after his wife was found dead.

Authorities said they received a call just after 10 p.m. Tuesday night asking them to conduct a welfare check at a home in the 4400 block of Iyar Way.

When officers arrived, they found 34-year-old Stephanie Autry dead.

They are now looking for 39-year-old Lanson Stalf. He's charged with murder. Police say he was recently released from jail and should be considered dangerous.

Stalf was arrested in New Orleans in 2013 and charged with robbing a Wake Forest bank.

Autry leaves behind a 3-year-old son who is now being cared for by family members.
