Man wanted by Creedmoor police surrenders

CREEDMOOR, N.C. (WTVD) -- Officials say a man wanted in connection to a possible drive-by shooting over the weekend turned himself in Thursday.

Tyricus Lawan White, 21, had multiple warrants for his arrest.

Creedmoor police tried to pull White over around 12:45 p. m. Wednesday, but he allegedly did not stop. He led officers on a chase from Creedmoor through Granville and Wake counties before he crashed into a tree in the 3000 block of Blackley Road.

White got out and ran on foot.

During the chase, White allegedly threw an object from his car that was later determined to be illegal drugs.

Police have warrants charging White with:

  • Felony Conspiracy
  • Shooting into an Occupied Dwelling
  • Injury to Real Property
  • Injury to Personal Property
  • Discharging a Firearm within the City Limits
  • Felony Conspiracy
  • Shooting into an Occupied Dwelling
  • Injury to Real Property
  • Injury to Personal Property
  • Discharging a Firearm within the City Limits

White was placed under an $80,000 secured bond.
