Caleb Zachary Hendricks was last seen on Mother's Day, Sunday, May 8. His father, who doesn't have custody of Caleb, allegedly broke into the home on Aldine Westfield Road in Spring. Authorities say Zachary Alphonse Hendricks took Caleb and threatened to harm the baby and himself.

"I let him know that I was gonna call the police and he told me if I would that he would kill himself and the baby," said Carra Phillips, Caleb's mother.

Caleb is African American, has black hair and brown eyes, and is approximately 2 feet tall and 20 pounds.

Zachary Hendricks, 22, is African-American and has black hair and brown eyes. He stands approximately 6 feet tall and weighs 190 pounds.

We have found that Hendricks has a criminal history that includes an arrest last year for assaulting a family member. Hendricks also has a charge of burglary on his record.

Authorities do not have a vehicle description.

We spoke to Carra Phillips, Caleb's mother, and she is urging anyone who knows where her son is to call authorities.

Phillips says she is upset that it took five days for the Amber Alert to be issued. She says because Caleb was taken by his father, it took five days for law enforcement to issue the alert.
